Fall Tips for Your Home in Charlotte, NC

October 20, 2022 by Danielle Edwards

Fall Tips for Your Home in Charlotte, NC

I LOVE FALL! Unwinding after a busy, event-filled summer, getting back on a schedule, and enjoying more of my home is just what I need to keep going during the active months of the year. My favorite part of fall is slowing down, cozying up with a good book under a heavy blanket, and enjoying my favorite glass of red wine. And, of course, the crisp fall air! But, while I’m taking care of myself in the fall, I also care for my home. Here are some of my favorite fall tips for your home in Charlotte, NC.

The Teal Pumpkin Project

Teal Pumpkins make trick-or-treating more inclusive for children with food allergies and other intolerances. A teal pumpkin on your porch indicates that, besides candy, you offer non-food knick-knacks and safe treats for all trick-or-treaters.

Aerate Your Lawn

Fall is the time to aerate your lawn in Charlotte, NC. Lawn aeration involves perforating the soil on your property with small holes, which helps improve the absorption of water, air, and nutrients by the grass’s roots, resulting in a greener, healthier lawn.

Inspect Your Chimney

Inspecting your chimney and fireplace in the fall has several benefits. First, chimney sweeps will remove creosote to prevent dangerous fires in your chimney. But there are other benefits, too, including improved air quality in your home, keeping your home warmer when the fireplace is not in use, and saving energy. Call your local chimney sweeper to inspect and clean your chimney before you start your first fire.

HVAC Service

Cooler temps mean you must prepare your HVAC system for fall maintenance, which ensures it’ll run smoothly for longer. Well-running systems are more energy efficient and will save you money in the long run. P.S. Have them check your bathroom fan too!!!

Watch this video about all the fall tips you need to know for your home that are spookilcious!

March 14, 2022 by Danielle Edwards

FIRST-TIME HOME BUYER –

Sponsored by National Association of Realtors

First time buyer TV show with REMAX agent Danielle Edwards and her buyer Danaya!

Looking to up your game when it comes to getting into the Charlotte housing market? This real estate “reality” TV show is a must-see and you can watch the series on HULU or YOUTUBE.TV.

The TV SHOW is called – FIRST TIME HOME BUYER produced by the National Association of Realtors.

“I was asked if I had a great story to share from a recent first time home buyer in the Charlotte, NC area.  I had the perfect buyer in mind!  After both Danaya and I interviewed we were told we were chosen! I can honestly say this is a true story about her journey to buying a home in Charlotte, NC.”  says Danielle Edwards.

Reality Real Estate TV shows are quite popular.  The National Association of Realtors has its own show with actually REALtors and storylines that have been vetted.   The NAR picks hot real estate cities and shows buyers what they can expect on the real estate home search.  Charlotte, NC is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States and quickly making its way to a top 10 place to live, work and play.

No matter what type of market there is a lot to know when it comes to buying or selling a home.  Whether you are a new buyer or seller, or a veteran, having a real estate agent in Charlotte, NC who puts your needs first is crucial.

Buying a home Charlotte

“Just like in all professions not all real estate agents are equal.  I come across Charlotte real estate agents who don’t work weekends(shock), don’t answer their phone, pass you off to an assistant to pretty much do everything.  That is all fine if that is what you want.  But, I am a firm believer that clients are purchasing the MOST IMPORTANT ASSET they will live in they deserve white-glove treatment.”

Realtor Charlotte

TV featuring Danielle, top Charlotte agent.

“Specializing in making your home dreams a reality is what I do.”

Whether it is 50 homes or one home.  I treat all my clients the same.   From first-time buyers to seasoned homeowners I have 16 years of experience to guide you with your home journey.

I have a television background and studied communications at the University of Florida.  If you visit my youtube channel, you will see I use VIDEO frequently to guide my clients through the process.

I was excited when I received a call from a TV producer to be considered for the TV show FIRST-TIME BUYER.  They asked me if I had any great stories about a Charlotte first-time buyer.  They interview my client and me on zoom.  A few short days later– I found out I was chosen.  If you watch this episode you will see Danaya and I become were on a mission.  We faced the complete real estate roller coaster in Charlotte, NC.  From how much to offer in due diligence, appraisal issues, and of course just getting the offer accepted!”

The First -time home buyer series itself if hands down a must-see.  I particularly love Season 2, Episode 2.   It provides a great insight into what working with me will be like as your Charlotte real estate agent– whether you are buying or selling.

Contact me if you are looking for top-notch representation.  My team and I will be there for you.  If you are looking in an area we don’t service I can certainly recommend a Professional real estate agent for you!
